I've been trying to drum up some more advertising for Zfest today.
I ordered a couple of parts from my local BMW garage and they were delivered today. I was chatting to the delivery guy about the event and on his return he told one of the managers. Shortly after the manager rang me and we had a good chat about the event and I suggested that the garages around the country could help promote the event by contacting zed owners and maybe having some advertising literature in the showrooms.
The guy was really keen to promote it as he is a member of BMWCC so we'll see what happens. I'm gonna call in some time and see if anything has happened and take some of these flyers in case they've not got any
We could easily put our logo on these flyers - why not on the front??

the cheek of it...we pay to go we rally round every one we see....look strange going harsing (sp) people we dont even know..and we cant put our own website on the flyers..........grrrrrr thats got my back up.....(or it could be all the sugar iv just had)...but im not wearing that.......there first port of call should be here if it was one of us lot that posted/handed/stuck it on someones car....or which ever forum they cam from.............can someone come up with an exclusive underground version please....im feeling rebellious [-(

What about sending out or letting us have a copy of the images for the card so we can print on the back of the things we are going to print, on our paper with our ink, to promote their event! I am like some of the others we should be able to personalise it so people know we ar being active!
I do not think they have done it deliberately they just did not realise the sense of community we have and that we all feel pride in our community and want to show that we are active. A the end of the day recipipocrity is what makes communities and we are happy to help what could be seen as our parent organisation but we are a Community of practice/interest with a social presence and that is probably something they are not used to coming across.
I shall not say anything about the silverstone organisation at all mind you!

If the image HT has posted isn't big enough you can PM me and request copies of the hi-res print ready artwork files.
We don't mind you using the logo as long as it's used sensibly/tastefully. Obviously needs to be used for "official Zorg business" 8-}

Gary can you send me some graphics and I'll have a go at flyers tomorrow, I can get some off the MNDA web site, I could "pinch" them off here but the better the resolution the better our flyers are gonna be.
Judging by the content I would have thought 2 x A5 would have been better - what do you think?? I know that only means 2 per sheet of paper but don't want to squash everthing up....
We also might be able to get a deal at a local printers to do them in bulk, I'll make some calls tomorrow..
