Take a look on the last page of the club magazine for all 'Members Preferential Rates & Services'. One example here

No problem. You really have to read Straight Six from cover to cover - lots of gems hidden away. It's well worth the annual fee for the magazine alone IMO

Go onto the club website and look for the Crowne Plaza/35% discount advert - click on it and it takes you to the booking website

I was thinking about joining and looked at the parts finder (here). I thought that it was brilliant. But then I phoned the dealers - the data is 3 years old and all the prices and stock levels are wrong - a complete waste of time.

If I used hotels then I may get a discount worth the £45 annual fee, but I don't.

First real world test = failed.

Hotel discounts are not the only benefit Dave, that was an example. Another example - you get a 10% discount on all parts at any BMW dealer. Did you notify the BMWCCGB office of the issue regarding the parts finder?

I've wasted enough time on the search (shame as it would have saved a small fortune). I get 10% off just by asking. I'm not ruling out joining, but it needs to be worth it. Maybe at insurance time I'll reconsider.

Yes, the February edition is out. You should have received that around a week ago. I'd give the office a call and let them know you haven't received it.

Yay.... joined today so I'm eagerly awaiting my pack to drop through the letterbox.

I remembered to say all the necessary passwords and name drop :D and I have to say, what a really really nice lady Helen is, real asset to the BMWCC.

Thanks to those involved for setting up the deal, apreciated. :-bd

Yes I have to agree Helen is extremely polite and very helpful, I spoke to her yesterday about another matter and gave me some excellent advice/information. You don't find many people like that nowadays I am sad to say but thankfully the BMWCC have a real assett there. :-bd

Woo hoo, just got back half my subscription at my local BMW dealer. Flashed my membership card and got £20 off the price of my rear springs! :D

For once I actually walked out the parts department with a smile on my face!

I finally got around to buying my springs - I managed to push him to 12.5% discount, so that's my membership nearly paid for :)

... and further benefits of the club - 2 of my CC mates fitted them for me :coolsteer)

Car now passed MoT and fully street legal :coolsteer)
