BMW Z4 based Tender 5.7

Nope, don't like these type of things. It can't decide what it wants to be IMO.
Based on a G29, so not going to be exactly cheap. I reckon around $200,000.
 
I've seen worse, but it wouldn't be on my shopping list.Mind you anything associated with Elvis Pressley wouldn't!
 
I do quite like the looks, but then I think the 507 was one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

But I'm not a fan of the G29 - agree with @Pond and apologies to owners - and I really don't like the price.

But hey, at least it's something different and not just a generic modern brick shaped large battery transporter . . .

I wonder whether the people who do these 'special recreations' ever make any money? Even at the ridiculous asking price I would assume there is not much margin when making a handful.
 
The car has very hard suspension, apparently. Done on purpose so the occupants are "all shook up". :D
 
I love the 507. I think that this could be less ugly if it is done as more of a modern interpretation of the 507 rather than a partial replica.
 
I have to say I like it, apart from the grille, to much like a sad face, think the Alpina wheels really suit it 😁
 
I am always open to a modern rep of a classic. But this is a no from me...
 
In defence of the G29 I think it's a really really really good car, I liked my E89 but I love the G29 for lots of reasons . As for this sort of 507 wannabe you can't improve on perfection so why bother.
