@Rha & @oldcarman both of you should check out which type of mesh wind deflector you have, as there are two, type 1 (which I have) and type 2.
If you do not have the same, it will not fit the car.

I can do that too Roy, as I don't know which type I have either TBH.:)

Tony.

This, I think, is type 2

I'm not sure which type this is, it came with the car.

Rha, if you still have the hoops, they are worth a bit........if they are OEM (Tony)

Wow, seems I'm well out of my depth thinking mine was the only original, thanks HT and Tony all I have to do now is go find where I hid it from her if I can remember, can't believe those pics you've posted so quick, mine is nylon mesh with zip and slips over original roll over (v) bars which I also have. Sorry Jim if this is confusing, we'll get there in the end.:rolleyes:

Yep still have them, but would let them go if they're needed, can't see me ever getting rid of my (crap)chrome hoops which I think are great and when I'm gone won't be my problem will it, don't want to fleece anyone if they'll make someone happy.

Well Jim, HT has posted a pic of the exact copy of my black nylon windbreak along with the rollover bars they fit which I also have, let me know if there any use to you. :happy::happy::happy:

You have the correct one for my car! How much would you want for the hoops? Do you have the fittings, also? I have a complete set of the plastic trim I plan on putting in place of the jump seat in my 58 190sl Benz because I like the look so much! As I said, I tore my centre section when my wife let her side slip also scraping about 4" of paint off just above the boot. JIM

@hard top @Rha @t-tony @oldcarman

I've moved the posts about wind deflectors to their own thread for you guys, as it was taking the other thread over ;)

Great news that it's the right one Jim, shame about the little accident know the feeling with the paint work, are you going to attempt the paint job your selfe as I am. At least I was the only one responsible for mine, so glad it wasn't the wife cos you'd need to super glue my mouth to stop me making the situation worse( bless her). The hoops are on their own with no fittings and if you want them I'll get what I consider a fair estimate from the Internet then take it from there, the hoops are heavy so postage will probably be a deciding factor, never the less I'll make it worth it. Lets get them weighted at my local post office first then we'll have a better idea. Roy.;)

I installed a Windblok barrier that is attached by velcro to the roll bars. I really like the fact that I can remove it easily when the weather changes, and it provides tremendous protection from the back draft. Great product.
