Anyone out there replaced their exhaust for a stainless one on a 1.9?:)

If so anyone you can recommend based in the midlands area:wacky:

Yes mate I have a long life fitted, very pleased with it, gives a great growl, have been talking to my new mechanic today about a remap to take advantage of it and the induct pion kit fitted.

What was the spec of the exhaust

Twin pipes or the oval pipe?

What would u suggest for the best growl?

Just ask for mid sport sound, i would for a dual round pipe, I went for an oval pilpe to keep with the 1.9 look, but think twin pipes would look better.

This http://www.roarpower.co.uk/ ties in with Zedonists recommendation and your location.
I fitted a Cobra cat back on mine (single oval) and am pleased with it, but I think Longlife will provide you with a more personalised sound.

I like the quality and sound of the Supersprint on my 1.9:

Looks good, too:

I thought long life was a generic description like heavy duty. I figured Supersprint, being stainless etc, was long life, so I posted. Didn't realize it was a brand name.

Yes long life is a franchise..........if Taffzee recommends his fitter go there......

Hi Just wanted to sing the praises of roarpower in birmingham. Took my Z3 to have a mid range stainless exhaust fitted (long life brand) - all in £299 - wasn't happy as it was too noisy for me (must be getting old!) - anyway went back and he added a second silencer - no charge - still too loud for me so went back a 3rd time and he fitted the standard pipe for me - again no extra charge. Would recommend them to anyone considering a stainless system. www.roarpower.co.uk
