=)) I’m not quite as bad as that. But I do sometimes take my shoes off after I’ve cleaned the car so I don’t mucky the mats. I thought everyone did this lol.

Not in an excessive way. Oh no, not at all. And it's not true that he had to build a barn to keep the cleaning products in.:bag:=))
Not true, he moved there because the barn was there, and his Z fitted inside .................. ;) .......... the cleaning products came later:)

A clean car is more fuel efficient and MUCH faster, less Coefficient Drag. Science Fact :detailing:

Good call. Nothing worse than dirty footprints on nice clean mats

Is that middle bottom one for somebody with a badly deformed leg :wideyed:
They are the ones specifically for those who have had the misfortune to tell their other half how much they spent on their car and it’s upkeep.

I go through loads of toothbrushes but generally for cleaning crud off components. I also use them for Scalextric car restoration to clean the plastic bodies up. Not sure they'd be going too near the bodywork of my Z3s though :woot:

80k is not high mileage for a Z3! In fact it's very modest mileage. I think I can safely say most people on here would fall over themselves for an 80k mile Z3, especially a Z3M at £11k. Untidy is untidy though, regardless of mileage.

My own line in the sand to call something high(er) mileage is 110k. And even then if it's been maintained well there is nothing to fear and some screaming bargains. Just be aware chucking money at a high mileage car is unlikely to come back to you when you sell it.

The best driving 2.2 I've known is at 135k. And the best driving 3.0 was 130k. Those 2 cars drive beautifully, sound terrific and go like the clappers knocking spots off lower mileage cars. That 2.2 (Sport) is on the verge of finding a new owner for the princely sum of £2k. And it's lovely all round, not just the engine. If that was an 80k mile car I would want £4k+ for it. And honestly, it would be £2k that someone really doesn't need to spend if they just want a nice car to own and drive.

Of course if you have an eye on rare/investment that's different. But my personal advice would be it's a very risky game to play. Better to just find a car you like and pay sensible money.

You could spend £12-15k on a Z3M and end up with the same multi-thousand maintenance bill as an £18-20k car. That said £11k for an 80k mile Z3M sounds a little suspicious to me (might be a true bargain of course). I've seen them as low as £10k and it was almost too cheap to be credible.
Very true, having looked at quite a few and now paid out to do two most of the Ms for sale at 10k to 15k will need 3k to 5k spent to bring them to as left factory condition mechanically not including paint, hood vanos etc regardless of what the owner or salesman tells you, the worst words to hear even on a low mileage one is "Its all original Sir" the equates to all needs replacing as its perished and knackered....High mileage? I wouldn't worry about that on the S50 if its been well maintained, I've put 50k on mine since buying so its at 134k now, engine is sweet as ever and got top marks from the guy at the rolling road session, one of the best he'd ever seen, his words so an M with service history and the engine should be OK. I'd put my high miler up against any sub 80k M.

Don't tell her you'll need a map of every petrol station in the UK :D There's no point in getting an ///M if you're not going to stretch its legs :coolsteer)
