Yes it was something I've always done with insurance companies I've used since I did the "mod" back in 2013 along with fitment of front strut brace and non OEM Alpine DAB radio (professionally fitted).Just a thought - has anyone ever asked for approval of oversized tyres from their insurer? Tyres may now be regarded as cosmetic items, but insurers would view such things as a good get-out clause. Here in France - and Germany - non standard tyre sizes could result in an MoT failure.
