I feel your pain, I was spinning or getting bogged down :rage:! - I even got the highest speed at the quarter by an marginal .2 MPH:racecar:, shame my take off was poor.

To much thinking, and to much reading :computer:

Brill day today and great to meet all fellow zed heads. Yocky, thanks for organising this event for us had a fab time!
Next years Pod show is going to be moved to June on Fathers day i believe.
Had my trophy Tony and now waiting for my Email so sort out my free re-map by Thorney motors, nice!!

And Wales beating England too, what a weekend.

I agree, the club is in decline, it wasn't my cup of tea.

Seen by external people as a club of snobs.

I remember Mike Fishwife writing a post about how the Club was trying to attract new members and he asked for warts and all as to why it didn't attract more. They kicked off when I wrote my reply. I told them if they don't want to listen and only cherry pick the good comments then it would carry on in decline. They haven't listened, and we save 4 subscriptions a year now =))

Thanks Tony for facilitating another great event. Good people to chat with and lots of sunshine.
Unfortunately Ben kept beating me and G8JKA with his coupe down the strip. After this first time it shows I need more practice, and that manifold changing same as his one.. he got 14.5 seconds in his 2.8 car, which is at least 3 seats heavier than ours... damn. Mind you he doesn't run a back box anymore which means it was almost as loud as the jet car...

@Tommy Bates if you want higher res photos. Pm me you email and I will send a few over. They are all 24mp hi def. great driving on that track too. Was it @GazHyde 's weight that just was too much for that rear tyre ? Lol..

Who you calling swampy....!!!

I'll let you off this time seeing as though your one of the good guys...but for the record...ive never tied myself to a tree of lived in a hole in the ground hahaha

Does anybody know whose the Dakar Zed was pictured above? It had a zorg card on the dash.

Looks incredibly clean....puts mine to shame :bag:
It was Brian, immaculate it was. There was a couple stood at the rear of the car when I walked round it but they were talking to someone else so didn't want to intrude.

Looks incredibly clean
Factory fresh, sub 20k miles. Usually entered in the the BMWCCGB concourse competitions. It's absolutely mint, and I challenge anyone to find a Z3 in better condition in the country!
