All I can say is that as well as doing something good we are also learning on the way..

The teacher ---- @Lee
the students --- @GazHyde @pgunter

and more importantly... we are keeping another good Zed on the road.. So.. @badman gee if that is not your thing.. sorry to say.. jog on boy... I am enjoying the fun we are all having.

Hey Paul, if the project needs any brake pipes shout up. Mind you I guess Lee is ok for doing that too?

Tony.

@t-tony I think the brake pipes are ok. The brakes have been done all round.. It actually stops in a straight tine now.. haha..

I am having a great deal of fun learning... The last time I actually did some work like this on a car was back in the late 80's on my Mk IV Ford Zodiac 3.0 V6... The joys of having company cars.. Now back learning and really enjoying the fun.

That would have been a Cologne V6 I think, I once almost bought a Capri with the 2.0 version but A mate who worked at the local Ford dealer said forget it, if I'd ever needed parts for the engine it would have been a nightmare as they were only available from Germany.

They were in good condition Tony, but thanks for the offer.

Had fun bleeding the brakes as one of the lines was pretty much blocked. Had to poke a stick in to clear the clot before any fluid would come through!

No she was an Essex V6.. one of the best... and she had gas flown heads and balanced cams.. used to be great fun to drive.. but 12mpg was a bit of an issue..

A common problem Gaz, the ex Halfords who work at our place insist on removing the rubber dust cap to bleed brakes and then throwing them away? Dicks.

BTW offer valid whenever.;)

Tony.
