Are you sure it should be called 'Sunny' Stacey, the song goes 'Sunny one so BLUE. I love you!!' Perhaps it's all a bit before your time, but the Baby Boomers will remember!!!!

Sandy
Hmm Blue is totally incorrect but the I love you is correct because I love my Dakar
Btw I have no idea about that song sorry

Ah be ok then just the wet to respect a little bit more but you should be more than capable Stacey as I came from a front wheel drive and forgot all about my cortina and caviler days which resulted in me pointing in the oppersite direction than I intended
Oh that don't sound good at all :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:
I need some handling lessons for sure just incase I get caught out then I have more chance of saving a spin :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

You'll be fine, its harder than you think to throw the M's into a spin. Unless your driving way way to fast they are very well planted.

Not that bad Stacey didn't mean to sound to drama queenie but I must have road the clutch a bit too much with to much of a heavy right foot and spun myself right round the oppersite way I wanted to go, caught me by surprise due to my inexperience so totally my own fault but gave me a it more respect for the car with wet conditions otherwise it's sure footed if you dry accordingly to the conditions. I remember one poster on .Net slagging the ///M off for having sh*** handling as he was going 90 on the motorway in a downfall and wondered why he aquaplane and had a bit of a bump! On the other hand good fun in the summer stepping the back out a bit feels quite predictable on a private road of course.

Of course @Althulas ;). It's like anything, you'll get used to it by driving and using it Stacey, just take it easy and use common sense.:)

Stacey's quote: "I need some handling lessons for sure just in case I get caught out then I have more chance of saving a spin."

A remarkable statement in that you were once 'handled' by just the one person who is the expert on the spin..........@miller1098..........

The ability to control cars spinning or sliding cant be learnt over night or in a few days it took me years to feel confident with mine. Then there's always going to be that day where my skill will run out. Its the fun of owning performance cars. Either book yourself on a skid pan or book your self on an advanced driving course best money I've spent honing skills. Lee

I didn't vote @BMBabe because I believe this is your choice to make not for anyone else! I'm sure you'll decide on something appropriate that you'll be able to live with as long as you own the car, which is likely forever I'd think. The key to keeping your car an individual is doing what you like no matter what others may suggest. Good luck my girl and drive safe!! JIM

Now that's a cool name! Stacey already picked sunny now tho.
I wonder if we started referring to all Dakar yellows as a Colman how long it would be before others caught on? =))
