Blue got some new shoes today, and typical women fashion they’re actually the same as the other ones but in a different colour =))=))

Old ones are Style 225, or MV4, in original Silver and are peeling badly.

New ones are Style 225, and have been powder coated in Black Sparkle.

The old ones will be off to be powder coated. Just need to decide on the colour - original silver or something else

How clean do the alloys need to be before taking them to city powder coating in terms of defects? minor scratches OK? Ta

Minor scratches and chips are ok, as they tend to smooth the edges down.

If there are deep, significant gouges then I would suggest putting in some prep work yourself and cleaning them down and using some metal filler.

There's part of me that still longs to complete the m44 project. Montreal with shadow chrome was always the plan and these looks great. I've sworn to myself i wouldn't go down the route of 19's but a few members on here have them. How do they ride? Is the suspension stock?

Currently on Monroe shocks and lowered on Eibach pro kit springs. No rubbing, just have to go slow over speed bumps as I have an aftermarket cat back exhaust that likes to play tag with the ground.

Ride is firm and ver positive in corners.
