Firstly, thanks for the add. Well what can I say I'm a spritley 47 yr old and last year decided to treat myself to a 2-seater. After looking around at various TT's (sorry for the language) I found a lovely 03 plate Z4-E85 2.5 in madieves blue, not for everyone but the wife and I like it and was no contest. My younger brother says mid -life crisis but can see the envious look when I take him out for drive. Bought myself a matching colour hardtop too and looks the dogs b******s when on too. Any advice on nice upgrades to be had I would be grateful.
Cheers guys.

Welcome from Nottingham. Upgrades that are.
1. Get the roof motor relocated to the boot if it has not already been done as the drain holes are prone to blocking and damaging the motor. Around £85 to have done and around £1000 if the roof motor fails.
2. Install a Gaptech roof module http://www.gap-tech.co.uk/
3. Depends on money and what you would like to do.

Hi Paul from a fellow 53 E85 Z4 owner near Lincoln. Mine's a 3.0 Auto and I love it, I bought it 18 months ago with only 16,500 miles on and it's now got 25K.
Gap-tech roof module is a great modification but one word of advice, splice and solder the wiring connections, don't use the "scotch-lock" type of taps they supply.
Also a steering wheel re-trim by Royal's is a great addition, if you don't have the audio controls on your wheel try to find a S/H one and have that trimmed, that's what I did. That way you aren't without your car (although they will loan you a wheel) and come selling time you can replace the original one and sell on the re-trimmed one.

Tony.

Hi and welcome from Surrey, like grumps, I am a Z3 man but you will get plenty of Z4 help on here. Z4 owners seem to be a growing breed. :welcome:
