Good to hear that the heads a lot better pal, looking forward to more pics of the trip to Spain

Arrived at Javea in Spain after a 7 hour 408 mile drive. Got to within 55 miles of destination and popped some fuel in as could only do another 53 miles so managed 1 full tank and approx 400 miles averaging 32.8mpg so that was bloody good going.

Gorgeous blue sky Bill.

Tony.

Good job you're not still down in Valencia @billz, they've had a 'Gotta fria'. That's a massive rainfall, 300 mm a day. My old hometown of Ontinyent is flooded, 2 dead washed away in their car in nearby Caudette. In Ontinyent the fire service has had to rescue people from upstairs windows. You can see reports/pictures on the net.

Bloody hell! That's bad.

In Cordoba and Granada last week, wall to wall sunshine 39°c, never drunk so much water!

The storm started Tuesday night. They even pushed all the sand on the beach upto the Arenal plaza to try and stop it coming up to the shops and restaurants. We drove through torrential rain all the way past Valencia. Set off at 8am and got clear of the rain just before zaragoza at 12pm

Zaragoza onwards was 27 degrees top down all the way to our stop

Good video on 'El Periodic' Ontinyent, but not if you live by the river! Normally it's just a small stream, today it's more like the Trent.

Have just read about it on La Piaz

Well we arrived home safely last night. Decided to catch tunnel yesterday instead of this morning. So a 500 mile drive home in glorious sunshine all day was to be had.
