Been to the Mosel valley area some years ago on my motorbike, was there to watch the moto GP boys at Sachsenring circuit.
We also visited the Nordschleffe or the Nurbergring as it's better known and I did 2 extremely frightening laps.......never again :nailbiting:.

Loving the pics you're all posting :snaphappy: ........but you must stop it as I'm getting even more envious :arghh:.

Lovely jubbly, real cuckoo clock type buildings, everywhere is so tidy and clean no litter, have you noticed? What a difference to GB.
and where your heading is going to get even nicer. Lots more :snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy:

I have to admit this is our first visit to Germany and I can honestly say they are more welcoming than the French. Sorry any Frenchies. They will all try and communicate with you and it is so easy to order food

We found the same @ billz! We only ventured into northern France but were treated like crap even though we used what French we could and only when we got up to leave a restaurant or hotel would they suddenly speak English. Not impressed we headed back into Germany! JIM

It has been that good I'm Germany we may from now on bypass France enroute to the Alps. May take a little longer but will be well worth it if it carries on like this

Yep, we should have let the Germans keep that bit of land, first time round as well.
Lovely country France, just a shame the French live there.
Better stop now or will get nuked by Gaz for talking politics, oh, and by the way I do have carnal knowledge of French ladies.
Smell like garlic but I had better stop now as we are getting back to Millers "Smelly Finger" thread.......;)
