......... and the C-in-C pops on the full angry but considered outfit with Carlisle Skoda :nailbiting:

Click and nothing so called the AA who post boosting Betty diagnosed a failing alternator. Skoda garage phoned where the unaware chap angrily denied we have a full Skoda warranty, called the C-in-C a liar and shouted at her ....... twice :nailbiting: :nailbiting:

Refused to either text or email the Number of the next step and went on his merry way. Skoda UK promptly phoned who confirmed the warranty and informed that we also had Skoda Assist, kind of like the AA. Took the details and requested that the C-in-C grant permission to listen to the original call ......... As we know, these are all recorded. She said that if we'd not heard back by 14 days to give her a ring.

20 mins later phone call, mega apologies and that it would be sorted pronto having been stunned at listening to the recording.

Anyway, thats probably why Border cars where we purchased Betty went bust, they to were rude to her. =))

Just to calm her she's having a sniffter of VERY VERY expensive brandy tonight. I'm keeping stum and on the cheap plonk :whistle:

Shame =))

Seems likely the chap at Carlisle Skoda will be going on a training course on customer relations - then getting sacked. I should stop outside and polish Bella if I were you Andy ;)

My task for tomorrow? Wash & Polish Betty prior to collection :detailing:

My alternator packed in a few weeks ago on Skoda £168 supply ( I'm fitting obviously ) then I remembered after the last time it went about 5yr and 130 k ago about if it's a Bosch alternator regulators pack common fail

this is the old one £18 for a replacement
1 hour to fit battery warning light out job done :thumbsup:

Thank goodness it was something so trivial. Reports of a massive explosion and a blindingly bright flash from the Cumbrian coast area were becoming a little worrisome.

Skoda must by now have a massive bill for flowers....;)

Cheers mate. Only just under 4 years old and 27k miles. Most unusual in my experience.
