Well yesterday was the first real nice day we've had for weeks which has put me way behind in the garden.
So after a real heavy day I've just managed to get it looking respectable for the first time this year, had a pat on the back from the boss and told today is a Z day no argumen. That was last evening and early this morning had a phone call telling us we have visitors on their way. Oh well!!!!! The Z had waited this long another day shouldn't make any difference, should it????????.
Here's some pics of the garden which will now only need a quick tidy every other week for the rest of the summer which will give me more Z time, hopefully.

Now to get the Scalectric out in the back garden, that should help me recover from lost Z time and the grandson will be over the moon, he's without a garden so after playing in the sand pit and racing the porka's
It'll be off to the park with the remote control rockhopper. Perhaps my day won't be ruined after all.(can't wait)
 All dads and grandads take note.=))

Feel your pain Roy. I have been clearing all the crap that i put on the patio from ripping the bathroom to bits. Only got 1 more run to the tip and i should then be able to get my patio back to sit out and enjoy a couple of Peroni

Similar plans here Bill, pressure washing the patio yesterday which was bloody head work as it didn't get done last year and our water pressure is very low for some reason making the washer struggle a bit.

Thunder storms predicted for some areas for next couple of days Roy then the BBC says it's going to get HOT.

Tony.

Can’t win, the hot weather is great for relaxing the cool dry weather is what’s needed for me to get anything done to the Z, at my lockup it’s too shielded and gets unbeatably hot, when the weather is just right I have to go shopping. Bu.....d if i do etc. Just stopped for lunch, track is worn and took 3\4hr to get it to go.
Shame it’s got porkers on it, been meaning to look for some BMWs but it only comes out in the good weather when he visits.(boss don’t let me play on it on my own).=))

Got ourselves a Fiat 500c Bill, well bought the boss one and got rid of the 500x so the dump run is just about out the question now, son in laws will have to step up from now on or I’ll be buying a roof rack for it. Damn thing is a liability when reversing with the top all the way back. Need a camera fitted really. Best excuse I’ve ever had to give up the diy Bill can’t use the coupe even if it has got a reasonable boot, wouldn’t go to our council dump in anything decent, nails and screws all over the place.

Your patio looks good after you’ve cleaned it Tony, did manage to get the pressure washer out earlier this spring but nothing much else got done. Use weed prayer early every year which helps keep it tidy, only hand pick the big ones. Big problem with ants this year, been digging into em and leaving ant killer in the holes, but they’ll relocate as usual a few feet away.

Roy.;)

Yep Ants busy here too mate. I was used to power washing as I had to do the "sidewalk" and "drive skirt" at the villa courtesy of instruction from the H.O.A.
