They were a couple of beaches on Stewart Island, which is off the South Coast of New Zealands South Island....if that makes sense:D

It does sound like a great meet to be at but 4 hours each way is a bit too far ;)
I'd be working till about 11.30 the Saturday night and I would have to be up really early the Sunday morning :(

Not every ones cup of tea, but had a fantastic stay, really enjoyed it, the hotel was fantastic, location was the best you could wish for, Beni is more than you see through the media, if you end up at the wrong hotel and location it will be a nightmare, the secret is research, the hotel was quite with no screaming kids and 90% of the time we had the swimming pool (small but perfect for a cooling dip) to ourselves, the views were brilliant, the main beach was terrible, but we had our own little beach which was 2 meters from the hotel. Worst part was the heat, 42 most days with it only dropping to 32 at night, the locals told me that it was the hottest for 25 years. Don't write Beni off, although first impressions are not good, there are some brilliant parts that are well worth a visit, and with research there is something for everyone.
