Been promising myself a impact wrench every time i take a wheel off, so with a very generous Xmas money from the MIL bought my self one. Seemed a lot of different ones from cheap to silly money and being careful it came with a battery and charger as some are body only, not much good to me suppose if you have power tools you can interchange the battery then it makes sense.

Draper Storm force
20v Lithium battery
400nm
3.0Ah fast charger

Will get chance to use it soon. Feels good and should be more than adequate for what i want

Sure looks better than my pair of slippers.
Slippers? Slippers!!
I only got socks =))

Bought a Dewalt pair drill/impact-driver for DiY on a £150 offer. Only 18V 2A 190Nm - not sure if that would be up to the job of more serious work.

I know i am not up to more serious work

An impact driver often gets confused with an impact wrench. Two totally different tools though and an impact driver is used for screw driving as it delivers its power through a 1/4” hex drive where as the wrench has an half inch square drive anvil.

Tony.

Oh - here we go. The getting up before we went to bed and the cardboard box stories will be here soon =))

Well I said slippers, but they were made from old bits of cardboard tied together with sinew leftover from the dead cat that we scraped off the road and ate for xmas dinner.

Cardboard box? Eeee you were lucky, we lived in paper bag in middle ut road!
I like to oblige ;)
You had a paper bag AND a road? Positively wealthy then

. . . . and your toast cut into Cadettes . . . .

Tony.
