If we decide to keep ours then a full Stainless will be next on the menu and maybe a remap
As you know be seriously thinking of selling it, but decided to keep it , so a bit of zed pampering is needed,

Bought a few bits over the last weeks and fitted the first 2 today. One being the stubby aerial, tested tonight on the Mandarin run and radio 2 reception is fine.
Up next was my Cruise Control switch, fitted and wired, done. Just still have to remove the cut out in the lower column cover to fit round the switch.
Simple job, remove the one screw which holds the cowling on and gently pull apart from the top half (held together by several plastic clips).
Locate the connection plug from the loom, locate the switch into the slides on the column firmly to lock it in. Plug in the connector and Bob's your Uncle!!
On the outside of the lower cover there is an outline to cut to which allows the cover to fit around the switch. Junior hacksaw or/and Dremmel will do the job.

Due to arrive tomoz , soon as its on I'll post up a pic,
Gone for the plain black stitching as opposed to the M type,
Didnt want the M police hassling me ,

The zeds on mtech at the mo, gone for bilstein B4 's as I didnt want shorter shocks an ordered suplex springs to mtech standard,
Tbh could have got a kit B12 with eibach springs but that would lower it too much , bad enough now on mtech.

All in good time mi'lad!
Had the weekend free so thought I would try out my new das 6 da polisher , first up a good coating of snow foam then followed up with a good wash with megs shampoo rinsed off and towel dried.next up clay bared to get shut of any contamination on paintwork then rinsed off again and towel dried,time to start first off using megs 105 cutting compound starting on the bonnet doing a 2ft square at a time until all swirls removed then rest of car.Rinsed off again to remove any compound and started polishing with megs 205 polishing compound to take out any fine swirls and give it a deep shine,again rinsed off to remove any compound, then applied two coats of King of gloss wax to give it that deep wet look dive in finish very pleased with outcome for a first time with a polisher a few photos of outcome.
