Been no Zedding for me.....

The wifes been off this week and as such the job list has been as long as my arm !!
Not your average small job and im shattered :dead:
I've been in and out the garage for tools but the car has beconed but not been out and today has been lovely here...
So shes had me fencing ,cutting boarders , barrowing soil and buildinga rockery its not ended yet but work tomorrow for a rest !=))
The garden before it started on saturday...

And after 2 days work this weekend i got to this.

Old boarder left to reshape and then membrane and bark chippings to let it settle and cover the huge new cat toilet my pair think i've built :banghead:
My next task is apparently to deck rhe right corner and build her in doors a woman shed !!! =))
At least now the green fingered one is occupied so i can get the zed out and stretch its legs.... i,m getting to old to do this, the minds all over it the body isn't so sure!!

Top job that mate, fortunately for me I've got a back with the breaking strain of a soggy kitkat so that's off limits for me :thumbsup:

That aside, did you charge mates rates =))
 
Always happy to lend a hand for a cold beer. On this occasion i paid to do it !!! Seems something wrong but it needed doing i suppose.....

Must admit, do like a nice garden, it's just such a b****y killer. Couple of hours of light work max then flat on my back for the rest of the day. Pot plants are king, for us.
 
I know what you mean Andy im lucky my backs good but mine is my arms and elbows it must be nerve related but i end up with numb fingers mostly whilst asleep and it wakes me up and causes havok but its like a form of tennis elbow and you can not treat it :(

I fear I may be about to be mocked for being such a big girls blouse by our (superior in every way ;)) more senior Zedders some of which have proper aches and pains :nailbiting:
 
Ha Ha Ha, pair of young whipper snappers got aches and pains, come and watch a real DIYer (old git), Fencing ,flooring, log cabin erector. slab layer both kinds, painter, decorator, etc. You youngsters don't know your born, when I was a lad ..........................=))

Just like you Ant, can't/won't afford someone else to do it, won't ask for any help and consequently suffer pins and needles for weeks afterwards. Thank god for the analgesic's, but only as a last resort. All this DIY is swapped for Z time so it's worth it.:happy::happy::happy::happy::happy:

Top job Ant looks like all your hard work has paid off and just think of all those browny points you've accrued :whistle:.
I know where you're coming from with the aches and pains,I'm like that most days due to my job :rolleyes:. Could do with a less physical job now but there's nothing out there.

Thanks Steve will get it all striaght over the weekend the green fingered one has been brought all her plants and im just left too bark the rest of the boarders and add garden lighting...... before i have to draw up plans for the woman shed ! Lol
