We had a beautiful day out in the Z today :p
We went back to Framilingham Castle and had a lovely walk around the grounds ;)

Lovely to be out in the Zed with the top down, Shelly, glorious sunshine and with the bonus of Framingham as your destination, perfect, :cool: shame we didn't come too.:(

Lovely pictures Shelly, historical places like that fascinate me. Great you had some glorious weather too, looked at the BBC weather forecast for the week ahead and it looks like back to normal by the time we get home on Saturday.:( Maybe we'll stay another week?:whistle:

Like Andy I like a good castle to enjoy and take a shed load of photos
 
Yes lots of history behind them :p
When your at school and you get taken to all these different castles etc you don't appreciate them ;)
But now I'm older I do :)
 
We don't really have castles here as we're such a young country compared to the UK and so many other countries. So we travelled to Europe in the eighties and took in as many castles as we could and took our boys along for five weeks in 89 to give them an idea of where we all came from. They remember often things they learned and saw on that trip which shows us we did it right!! JIM
