I left the house at 7.10 for my usual drive from Nuneaton to work in Leamington. After turning round three times because the roads are flooded and then sitting in gridlocked traffic on the roads that aren't I've just got back home again. So that's a day of my annual leave I wasn't planning to take.

I would have got to work quicker if I had a canoe. Got stuck behind the accident that always happens in the same place on the a34 when it rains hard. Awesome commute!

Usual train I get to the airport delayed cutting it fine might be another day at home yet

Carholme Rd. into Lincoln is a very wide single carriageway road but always floods on days like this where passing cars almost touch mirrors to avoid drenching pedestrians on the footpaths.

The rivers are well full around here

The Fossedyke canal between here and Lincoln is out of its banks, ie over the towpath and rising, and the fishing lake next door is over the fishing platforms. That'll be enough me thinks.

The roads have been in grid lock for the last 3 days in Great Yarmouth
Due to a burst water pipe along the quay
One bridge was closed
Hopefully things will be back to normal soon

Made it back to the IOM everything delayed today due to flooding on the train line around Oxfordshire and with wind around Birmingham airport. Only constellation was a greeting of nice sunny afternoon over here.

My new Z4 made a very good speedboat yesterday morning
