Good luck with the roof job billz. I've seen various reviews,some look good others less complimentary,but it looks like a lot depends on who is doing the job.
My zed has got a nasty 'worn bearing' type noise at the front of the engine.One of the pulleys I expect or water pump,but it isn't going anywhere for a while so it can wait until we get back in August.I had the bonnet of my 325i resprayed on Monday,stone chips and scratches.So that is now looking good for the summer.The first job I always have when we get to the house in Spain is to clean off the enormous insect collection from the front of the car.They stick like concrete if left in the heat!

Try staying the front with cooking oil, insects usually wipe right off!! Been an old rodders trick for years. JIM

I am using the Renovo full clean and colour kit. Will post picks up before and after if i dont f--k it up

Done the Renovo three pack job two years ago billz and found it quite straight forward, done it in Oct and that's defo the wrong Month if it's wet cos your really do have to wait for the hood to dry out completely before applying the dye and proofer, mine took three days in the lockup to dry in Oct wet and windy. Hope it stays sunny and dry for you cos it works just great, only ever had to vac the roof since, still as dry as a bone inside with 16 yr old roof. Good luck.

Finish nights on Saturday so some sleep or push on through to see some practise of new comers and side cars. Sunday or so sure but if a nice day maybe a trip upto sneafel as last time I went up there the weather decided to close in and p*** down. I can safely say some beer involved somewhere and back on nights Monday but proberly see some more race practice.

Old Merc has passed her MOT with no advisories and when I got home there's a parcel waiting for me from Adrian @Synclare

Got a bargain deal from local Brandon Hire for a concrete mixer for the 3 day weekend £27 plus vat including delivery and collection.

Had another package delivered from Soper's with my facelift wiring looms ready to fit my sports seats I got from Steve @Low Rider

Just got to get up early tomorrow to get to Wickes to collect my sand, cement and aggregates to do my little concreting job.

I'll have a beer tonight and get stuck into my DIY tomorrow and I'll earn a few more for tomorrow night
