Hello everyone,

How easy would it be to remove the badges (front, side and back) on Nubodi built 250.
Maybe someone knows how Rob put those on when he build the cars for the customers.

How would you easily remove them so that it goes of clean without any marks ? Are they glued ? Would you have to heat it up ?

Thanks for your help !

3 litre Z3 pretending to be Italian exotica. Two previous E89 Z4s.
From the pictures, the front and rear badges look to be the same as mine. If so, they are all bolted.
The word badge on the bootlid has three studs (M3 IIRC) and nuts inside the bootlid.
The yellow badge on the bonnet has two small studs and nuts, again M3.
The prancing horse has two studs and will be clamped by something behind the mouth grille.

You will need to remove the front grille to remove both the front ones, probably.

Can't help with the wing shields, but if you can look inside the wing you will see if they are bolted. If stuck on, I would use a hairdryer and some fishing line to 'cut' the adhesive. Being very careful not to scratch the paint.

Thanks a lot Pond.

Also some info from the FB group:

Terry:
Bonnet badge is on 2 threaded studs. rear script should have pins. side emblems should be vinyl. I assume nothing changed between nubody and tribute ?

Manish:
Fishing line is the best option, it's strong and won't scratch.
