Managed to steal a couple of hours on the car today. Wheels were a bit tatty and red callipers were also faded and filthy so I decided I would refurbish the wheels and slap some red paint of callipers while I am at it. Obviously things never go to plan; one locking wheel nut on the front is owrn and wouldn't grip the insert so cant remove that wheel. Other front wheel has the tightest nuts this side of a teenager. Obviously been put on at a garage and managed to snap the BMW quality wheelbrace while standing on it and jumping up and down. Anyway the two back wheels look great now ( I went for anthracite rather than silver) but if I don't like them that's fine too as the front ones are silver!
