It's a little late is this, we got back last Saturday after all. We finally got to the Naval Air Museum which was an enjoyable few hours when we left there we went to the Florida/Alabama state line to a place called the Flora-Bama which is an old fashioned roadhouse grill. It is the last low rise building left squeezed between the high rise hotels on the beach.
Bought the T shirts
Anyway, when we left Pensacola we decided to to stick on the coastal roads as we made our way back south. We came through Mexico Beach which was blown away by the Hurricane last year.
After seeing the ruined town it was nice to see some lovely coastal roads.
We finally arrived on the Gulf coast near Tampa late Friday night and spent Saturday at John's Pass before returning to base.
Tony.
