Hello forum, I'm back after a crazy health problem.

It all started with a very mild sore throat, not a problem at all... then a very kind wasp came along and decided for no reason whatsoever to sting me in the throat repeatedly.

The end result, an emergency tracheotomy (really didn't go well) a 4 day coma and a few weeks on life support...

The doctors are still unsure about what happened to me but suspect the wasp venom allowed the throat infection to spiral out if control and attack my lungs leaving them pretty messed up. I then had to fight off pneumonia swiftly followed by pulmonary embolisms.

Like I said, crazy stuff.

Anyway I'm home and recovering well, the Mrs has been taking me out in my z3 a lot to keep my spirits up. I'm very glad to be back reading the forum, I missed it a lot.

Warm regards

Paul.

Chin up and speedy recovery mate. All the best

You must have been really ill..... to allow the Mrs to drive your Zed !!!!!!!!=))

what a nightmare, glad you are on the mend.

Oh my goodness Paul! You are lucky!
Welcome back and make the most of your Z chauffeuring.

That's a lot to go through just to get a driver to get back from the pub ,
Glad your on the mend

From one Paul to another Wow what a bummer, just a reminder make the best of every day.

Just shows how things can escalate to such a life threatening level from something so small as a wasp sting. Glad to see you are on the mend and hopefully get to meet up sometime at the Black Horse at Beamish when the BMWCCNE monthly meetings return to normal maybe next year. I echo what Paul has said above.
Just take it easy and enjoy the ride out in the Z even though you are not driving it. Take care.

Sounds like something from a horror film!
