A big thanks to everyone from Lynne and I to make it another great weekend was great to catch up with old friends and new ones.

Friday.
As we came up the west coast and not the east was fairly wet first half till the Great Glen.

A couple from just down from the Commando monument and a couple from a loch side further on.

Saturday.

Started roof down but always the weather was going to be against us on Saturday but got roofs down for a few bits of the day.

Spotted and carded the silver E85 at our lunch stop at Gairloch.

Reckon Dave and Chris were just waiting for that guy to fall into the river.


Will continue on another post as will be running out of picture space.

We made it back safe and sound from Ayr to York today, Storm didn't put as much as a sausage wrong, 220 all top down taking various routes. Western House Hotel, as introduced by Stevo and Lynne for Scottish Summer Run, can highly recommend for future Stays. Chef, trained under Michelin chef now head chef at hotel and boy does it show. Defensive parking available in the price and breakfast.

This was a kind of cheat spot as i had a fair idea i would find this particular zed parked exactly where it was .

After reading a post while on the Dunoon ferry we detoured into Ayr on way home
So spotted @Rod and Kate @Kate and rod .

On our way home went via loch Ness, loch Lomond and the Esrkine bridge to stop at the very Excellent western House in Ayr again. Not gonna lie there was a fair bit of rain so not many pics

I'm glad there was a decent turn out. I was a bit concerned too many were dropping out and that might lead to @Stevo7682 thinking it wasn't worth the effort.

The views are always worth it - even when the sleet is raining vertically upwards
