Write Up Autumn Scottish run 2025.

I didn’t take a single photo. Sarah took a few but it seems it was mostly plates of scallops, Connell bridge sunset and Arisaig beach.

Not reached the levels I did in the Isle of Skye run with the full 20 minute feature length documentary.

Next year….

Heres a few I took from the run, couldn't say now where they all are but scenery was stunning!

Show us your Scallops 🤤 ( pictures of food!! 😆)

Was a lovely weekend do, the weather couldn't have been much better 🌞. I believe all cars behaved themselves, didn't hear of any probs. Another successful run by Stevo and Lynne, goes without saying everybody appreciates all the work that goes into these weekends. :racecar::racecar::racecar::racecar::racecar::racecar::racecar::racecar::racecar:🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I got some from the local langoustine trawler, who also gets scallops. Tried to make a sauce from the roe. Didn't work. Could probably make a masterchef quarter final but never with scallops. Mind you my tandoori king prawns with ceylon sauce is amazing. It's all In the technique which I am sadly lacking.

You have managed some fantastic pictures of the weekend guys there's some really great individuals pictures amongst a fantastic range of photos.
@Rod and Kate yes guys all cars completed the weekend without any issues.
We love doing these runs as some of the scenery and roads are just outstanding especially when the weather plays ball for us 616 miles total all roof down
I have been sooo lucky with the weather this year i have done 3 runs dry for all 3
First 2 (spring and summer) tonneau cover on all weekend great weather for both.
Autumn run again some early clouds but some nice sunshine 🌞 both sat sun sun .

Great to see everyone at all 3 runs over the year some new folks and all you guys who regularly attend our runs
We both cant thank you enough as at the end of the day without you guys there is no run so nice to always see you all .

Time for some shameless advertising

I know there must be a few folks on here who are maybe newer forum members and read threads like this and @andyglym lakes weekends runs and think I would love to do something like that but i dont dont know anyone etc etc well we didn't know anyone on our first run in 2016 a month after i had joined and went on one of Andys one day lakes run ( shout out to Steve @Low Rider who made us feel welcome) the regulars who come on my runs are all a fantastic bunch you would be made to feel welcome and a part of the weekend.

So next years runs i will be posting up usually the week before Christmas 🎄

Spaces sometimes go quite quick so best to look out nearer the time.

Already planning for next 2 years as 2026 will be our 10th Anniversary on the forum and 2027 will be the 10th Anniversary of our hosting the event taking over from @Brian H who hosted the first Scottish run.
So will hopefully see everyone again over the course of next year.

Stephen and Lynne.
