Great day Niall - All your hard work and detailed planning and numerous dry runs is appreciated. You did a fantastic job.

The weather was pretty dire on the trip down but magically, the rain stopped, skies cleared and it was sunshine and blue sky for most of the day - Turned out to be a lovely perfect autumn day.

What a fantastic route too. A nice pace with time to take in the wonderful scenery. Thanks to for the caterers. Having 30+ people turn up want food at the same time can't be easy. It was very tasty and lovely and hot which isn't always the case.

Here's a few photos including some of the unexpected interlopers at Tintern Abbey.

Sorry I didn't make it today, but I see you all coped without me. It had been howling down with rain most of the night, and when I woke up it was horrendous. So I got back in to bed, and that was that

Fantastic day thank you very much. Day looked a bit bleak at the beginning due to heavy showers, once this had lifted roof was down enjoying the wind in my locks, some remained. Well organised and very thoughtful. Pictures to follow once I have found out how to do it ha ha. Phkrs = Phillip

Great day down the Wye Valley and through the Forest of Dean, the weather was kind to us so hood down all the way.
Great Coffee stop at Tintern with cake followed by a good lunch stop at the Pub at St Briavels Castle.
Thanks to Niall for organising and producing the route plan, good to meet up with some new faces as well as the old.
Few pictures I took
