Audio Head unit - 1997 Z3

Looking for a large touch screen (like a pop out) that supports Airplay that fits in the 1 DIN audio slot

looking for it to work with the air vents that stick out at the top - some of the head units are designed to accommodate the extra space needed as they block the air ducts.

Would like to support iPhone airPlay / android auto

Just did a head unit upgrade and having seen some of these, i might have held off. Very nice pioneer unit there. Mind and put a thread up if you install something nice. Really nice upgrade for these older cars. Why would anyone want something 'new' if you can still have all the mod cons.

thanks, I have looked at the Pioneer AVH-3400NEX in the US market which I believe is the same version z7100 - It looks to me that it should just clear air vent when it comes out, but Crutchfield lists it as not fitting and talking to a Best Buy installer, he feels it would not fit either. He suggested an Alpine with floating 9in screen but that looked just too large

has anyone tried the eur z7100 version and is the same as the US?
