Been waiting on a few more bits to arrive for the on slaught of the rear end.
A few more handy tools to get but next day Amazon for most as I have vouchers for there so late Christmas pressies !!
Been waiting for stock of the rear Bilsteins as the place in Germany had no stock but they came back into stock on a 22% off day  result so only came in @ £97 so quiet happy with that.

It's quite a parts bundle the powder coated rear beam is bushed ready so the rest of these parts replace every thing under the rear end.
The fun will some begin......
Loads of goodies......

Think I have everything I need now a couple of bolts from BM to remount the spare wheel carrier and some new exhaust mounts for when that goes back on but nothing that I cannot get next day.
It's going to be fun I'm really looking forward to it

I'm green with envy mate, wish I was at that stage with the 2.8, it should feel great when done and literally drive like a new car

That's the plan Sean managed to source everything new including the suspension and bushes to the front under £600 which compared with prices in the UK, I may have just got the dampers alone so happy with the website savings.
It's one of the last big jobs now .
May be a big bore throttle body and even cams in the future but will be nice to get it rebuilt underneath looking forward to the transformation so many talk about.

I'm so jealous, I want to do this to my car in due course. Some photos when you crack on with the work would be good mate:thumbsup:

Got A week off to do the work but expect it will be on it's way back in by then nights are getting light and I have free evenings. Will get pictures as I go it's all been freed off so not expecting any hiccups to be honest so I think time consuming rather than difficult not beyond my skill level I'm sure

I bought that type of brake pipe flaring jobbies... It works brilliantly.
Good to know looked at the other type just looked more robust. Will replace the pipes from before the tank back as the rest look fine.
Brought a vacuum one man bleeding kit to make life easier after the rebuild.

Looks like your in for a treat building the rear of the car, I love these sorts of projects.

Make sure you get a good seal when using the vacuum bleeder, I struggled with mine and ended up with a one man pressure bleeder instead.

Very jealous and would love to do this on my Zeds.

Enjoy the project, and as others have said - take photos!
