As I am unable to reply on the original write up, I feel that I must write this thread in order to say that my comment (Not Mike's) about the Hare and the Tortoise was said in good faith as a comical comment when I saw the pics of two groups at Blyton, there was no intention to diss anyone's ability to drive at speed or in any fashion at all, if it had been Steve's group that had been caught up, I would have said the same thing!
We had a lovely weekend recently when Mike & I drove with Dave in the lead, so I know that he is a very capable driver at speed and would not hesitate to say that he is also a very safe driver too, as are all the Zorg members.
I expected the answer to be equally as comical, such as we knew that there was a glass of Prosecco in the offing.
I also feel that in comparison to some of the comments that appear on various threads that are accepted in good humour, mine is considerably milder.
I apologise if I have offended you, Pauline, I would never have commented at all if I had realised how much hurt it would cause.
