Anyone near Wakefield with a van to transport a HT?

I've bought a HT IN Wakefield and need to get it to my car in Egham. Surrey. Is there anyone nearby that could transport it? I would be able to cover reasonable costs or if someone knows of a courier service that is safe and reliable that would also work. Anyone with a HT FITTING installed headed that direction that would be willing to put the top on their car would be perfect if going down south! Any help greatly appreciated! JIM

Have you considered smuggling on board your Z3 to cover some costs? :D

If it comes with a fitting kit we could relay it down. Ash gets it to his house, then I can collect from there... Splits the distance in half then...
 
The solidarity on this forum never ceases to amaze me! Well done guys. Sorry I can't help either Jim. I don't have a fitting kit and I don't have a van. :(
 
Right Jim, this is starting to sound like a plan. @GazHyde I'm sure Jim told me it had the fitting kit

Thanks so much guys! Yes it comes with the fitting kit which will be for sale as my car has one already. Will get an address, etc and relay it to you! Thanks all that posted,, I appreciate that. Ash, I have no idea what couriers charge but definetly will reimburse any costs involved. JIM
 
Is anyone from up that way with a fitting kit installed, going to Duxford on Sunday? They could take it to Duxford and I could pick it up and take it to Egham, I only live a few miles away.

@Ashbandicoot are you going to Duxford? Don't think you'll have time though. More important Anthony gets the car with a HT for sure! I can't wait to see the pics as I love the look of the z3 with a HT so his car should be amazing. Still got a few days to get something together for pick up. Would be great is someone with a fitting kit installed could get it to Duxford for sure. Emailed the seller for contact info will let you know ASAP. Amazing Jim I live in Wakefield but unfortunately I don't have the facilities to transport it and I am not going to Duxford either but if you want me to do anything else with me being so close let me know.

Thanks @Aceman don't think of anything off the top of me head right now but good to know. Even if I could get it picked up somehow it would help that way whomever does pick it up would not have to worry about coordination with the seller. Or is there a courier you could recommend that works cheaply but safely maybe? JIM
