Just got a brushed 540 motor for now, which will still be quicker than what I used to have. No where near as quick as your cars though Ian.

Just got to paint the driver figure at some point. Struggling to get some things related to this hobby as everywhere seems to be selling out of stuff on line.
One thing I'd forgotten with these cars is how much open space you really need to run them, it's seems ridiculously quick in the garden.
Having said that, Sara's ordered a skate board ramp for it to practice some little jumps, yes I know.....childish.....but I'm loving it

Looks a well built car Roy, even has countersunk chassis screwsNice little hobby RC vehicle Bozzy, my grandsons birthday present turned up here last week and we tried it in the living room and only just managed to stop it hitting the cast iron fire grate. Haven’t tried it outside yet but have acquired a piece of 4ply to make him a ramp. I’ll put some pics up when I’ve made one here’s the RTR car I’ve got for him. “Yes” I know I’ve cheated buying a ready built one but it’s looking like I may have caught the bug and if this car goes as good as it’s supposed to I’ll be looking at a build. Cant believe it’s got fully adj Coilovers but was disappointed to read the run time on supplied batt was 10-15min.
Well knowing how disappointed he would be by this runtime I’ve purchased another two batts so with any luck we might get about 30-40mins if I dial the speed down a little, plus I wouldn’t get a go if all we had was only
one batt.

Nicely built pal, looks great, molly and I have been having a blast with ours, and yes you need a shed load of room, we have a great bit of road that leads onto a farm track which is covered in gravel and also a grass island with jumps, we have trashed the shell but these are bullitt proof, I'm also struggling to get parts and cancelled the buggy I ordered, however I have another 4x4 on the way, this was after the first day, we are using 3000 batteries and getting 50 mins of flat out fun, it's been rolled and end over end dozen of timesThe spray paint arrived late yesterday, as did the battery charger and a replacement for a part I accidentally broke. . However after cobling together a make shift ramp this afto in the back garden, you may be better off putting the two halves side by side as it's so easy to miss it with the car. Mind you your grandson will have much sharper responses than me
