Well i decided to take the Z to work today and it promptly bit me on the arse. Driving down the M6, a lovely sunny morning then bang :((

So over to the hard shoulder closely followed by highway peeps, obviously there was no chance of the 18" fitting in the carrier so the lovely lady suggested popping on the front seat =)) Errr no! at least the nice man with her said he wouldn't put the wheel on his leather seat either.So with the wheel jammed in the boot and the lid taped down i limped off the motorway. So a new Bridgestone Potenza £215, Joy :((
 
That will repair with a cycle repair kit ;-)
 
At least its only flat at the bottom !!

wow, thats a sizeable hole. I've seen van tyres that have done 10 miles on the motorway while flat looking better than that. Must have been a hell of a bang.
 
Wow, that was a lucky escape! :-ss I'm glad you're alright, you never know what's round the corner! If you did, I don't think you wouldn't come out from under the sheets each day! [-x
Anyway, look on the bright side, It will give you a chance to clean the wheel inside & out :-bd
 
Hmmm think those wheels need a refurb! Not that i needed it but Can you believe that the highway people aren't actually allowed to help :-\ They apparently get told off by the breakdown services for nicking their trade :-o
I have to say on this occasion they watched brilliantly =))
 
a friend of Gary and me calls them the wombles ;)
