Being told they where e36 fitted so the offset should be ok for the zed but can not find any info on them can anyone help with the style and point me in the right direction?

Thanks Brian it looks like them but they list 16's only these are 17's approx a 3 inch chrome lip hoping if they fit a e36 they will fit my zed as they are a bargain they will fit rear no issues its the front will probably have to take the car and try one the old boy said they had them in a e36 and a e46 coupe so will see but thanks for the link much appreciated

Are you looking at a photo of the alloys or the real thing?

Miss understand the question the alloys in the picture are what i am looking to fit on the zed they are a 17 8jj rim. the style 30 listed in the link lists them as a 16" wheel 7.5 j rim i can only think they are maybe an aftermarket copy as i can not find a 17" listed

As you say Ant, they are definitely 17" , I saved the picture to my PC and viewed it in Media player and you can clearly see it's a 17" tyre on the rim.

Tony.

ps. If you have seen these in the metal, do they have any makers marks or anything to identify the manufacturer?

Going to go see them possibly tomorrow tony if i get time. Have asked the seller but he can not tell me anything about the offset just that they filled the arch to the outside on his 3 series.
They are 17's by 8jj fitted with 225/40/17's
He only wants 150 for them and no curb damage to any of them but im sure the offset is going to be wrong but will have to wait and see as he cannot give me anymore info even when i asked him to look ..
Will look myself and take the zed and try i suppose.

I think that's the best option mate, fronts may need some spacers at worst. Good look.

Tony.

The reason I asked the question was, if the alloys are of any quality, the offset should be stamped on the inside, from which you can work out comparability with a Z3.

I have asked the question David but its an old boy thats selling and even after explaining where to look it didn't help and the answer was just they fitted my e36 and filled the archs out to the edge.Im gonna go look its not far from me and have a look and see for my self .....

Well looking at the basic sizing I can't forsee any issues. Mine are 18×8.5j front and rear with an offset of 41. Admittedly they are a tight squeeze on the front but I have 20mm spacers on the rear. I'd have thought 17x8j would be fine. Good luck!
