After leaving my car on life support these last few weeks I took it out for a gentle "get to know me run" (and it's obviously missed the gentle caress of my right hoof) but i noticed the clock was reading zeso and the date only showing 2019. A bit strange as it's had my battery conditioner connected like last time. Anyone suggest why this should happen? Everything else fine and these two reset straight away.

Tony.

Haven't got a clue ! But welcome home

Glad I'm not buying a Z4 now, dodgy electrics.

Not like me to be slow . . . . . . . =))

It could be that you had a quick power cut in the area and the residual charge in the charger was just enough to stop it totally being a full down power

Obviously you didn’t get the email about the introduction time format changes and new calendar while you were swanning about in foreign parts

Unusual thing to happen. Have you read the codes for any clues Tony?
There was a big thunderstorm passed your way while you were in the US. One strike was only a 100m away from your place. I was watching the storm track when I saw that one. Several more not that much further away.

Thanks Ian. I may do that out of interest.

Well, as I had the lap top out today to reset a service light on my mates Combo, I thought I would plug the beasty in and see if the clock issue I found when we got home had left any clues for me. Aaaannnddd . . . . . . . nothing, so I'll put that down to one of life's little mysteries then.

Ok Doc. Now your making sense:thumbsup:. Did you get the keys off our Gary?=))

True, but it's unlikely to happen again then?;)

the only thing that can generate 1.21 gigawatts is a bolt of lightning....a bolt of lightning.
and you never know when or where one will strike.

Great Scott. Save the clock tower.

I don't think @t-tony's Z4 would reach 88mph

I would put it down to either a power spike or brown out happening. The short, but sudden change in voltage might have tripped them into doing that.
