Any Electronics whizzes out there ? Need to source a connector

Hi all,

I'm trying to fix my daughter's Sony headphones and needed to take off a connector that links to a PCB in the phones.

In taking it off I have b#ggered it so looking for a replacement.

The pic shows the connector with wires in place before I did the deed.

I see someone on eBay flogging these for £30 but I would like a more cost effective product. I just don't know what to blooming search for !

Any clues anyone in the profession?

I think its this one - is it 16 pin ?

There are a few Reddits (which I dont have a login for), but there are some links to parts if this is the correct one . . .

Hi it is a 16 pin yes. I wish I hadn't taken it apart now

Farnell is a wholesaler of electronics components and AMP is a manufacturer of numerous connectors. If AMP has an online catalogue then Farnell or RS Components will be able to supply it. Good Luck.
