Anti tilt switch

Lower boot on left hand side ( below carpets) that is where mine is located on my 99 pre face-lift 2.8.
Plug looks different from your picture.

Alarm module is the lower one the black unit on top of it is the solenoid for the valved exhaust flap
Got a face-lift model as,well but its all wrapped up for winter.

Where did you find the plug in your picture.

Thanks very much I’ll check under the carpet as you say ! I’ve disconnected the bonnet switch, but the lights still went off without any alarm sound so I’m working my way through things !
The thing I found was up near the bulkhead on the left ?
