Another Picnic - A run up to Wastwater in the Lake District

Hi everyone,

Decided to have another picnic this time in hubby's zed (with him of course) with a run up the Ulpha, headed over Birker Fell and down in to Eskdale, on to Wasdale and on to Wastwater and a little picnic near yewbarrow. Amazing scenery, although the sun was trying its best to stay out, it was freezing but we mananged to get some nice photos.

Couldnt get any reflections in the water, it was so windy the surface of the lake was very ruffled.

Looks good Gill. I do like the Lakes. Hopefully i will be able to get on one of Andys cruises when i start my new job.
We did manage a run out today. Went and met @MAURICE THE MARTIAN for a carvery then had a quick blast around Hope and Eyam

A few more pics from hubby's camera, apart from the tree, I expected it to waft its branches like the ones in harry potter, it was a quick shot out of the car as a merc was negotiating a crunch with us or the wall, the wall won. We offered to back up for him but he wasnt interested

Well it just go's to show that if you dress for the weather you can use the zed in any conditions.........as we do,usually spurred on by @Mint and @Mrs Mint .
I think we need to see a pic of you in your winter jacket .
