morning all,
I am new to the forum so be gentle with me :)

Not a Zed owner ... yet but looking currently.

I may ask lots of questions but promise to search forums carefully before I ask silly questions

Many thanks

Dave

Hi and welcome Dave, there are a few bargains about, don't get sucked into the classic price that people are demanding, whats your engine preference.

thanks Sean,

I will be 2.2 minimum. Prefer a 2.8+ though.

And will be looking for a bargain :) there was a red 2.8 at the London Classic Car show this year. A mere £10500 I recall. It was low mileage but that was much too rich for my blood. I wanted the 289 Cobra I saw elsewhere. I thought it was dear at £115,000 but when I looked at the photos at home noticed I misread it. It was £1,115,000 ! Anyway I digress.

I did see a 2001 2.2 with 95k go for £3600 recently. It had a tonneau and factory hardtop included. I do not have funds yet so too early for my wallet. Of course prices go up a little this time of year but more come on the market. I will be patient (I hope).

Thanks again

Dave

Thanks very much. I used to work in Aylesbury until end of last year. Live further south so the journey to work in a Zed would have been fun. That said getting 3 points in Watlington would have tempered my speeds in any case.

Thanks again

Dave
I occasionally drive to Henley in my Zed and defo makes the journey fun :D

Hi Dave, welcome from near Lincoln, I'm assuming that as you mention 2.2 that you're looking a Z3 and not a Z4?
A Z4 2.5 might be nice?

Tony.
