Looking to change the gear knob on my Zed, seem to recall in the dim & distant past on here someone said there was an weighted BMW OEM version available from the dealers.
Just wondering if any of my very knowledgeable fellow Zedders knew the part number
Thanks
Gary

Hi Knob!! (Gary mate ;)) I bought one for my 2.8, Its not specifically for the Z3 but I was advised by the BMW parts dept that it was a better knob and it was, I'll make a call to BMW and get5 them to check my purchase records.

There is a knob that I really fancy, its hard, cold, very heavy and made by Storm Motorwerks, I will be caressing one in my hand soon

That is one which several members use Sean. I can't understand what's happening here, when there's a Knob thread @hard top usually has a firm grasp of it to stop it getting out of hand.

Tony.

I’m sure Hardtop had this more in mind than something phallic shaped=))

I’ve got the original one in mine, but it must be pretty good, cos I stopped at some traffic lights yesterday and I heard someone say ‘ look at the knob in the Sports car’
