Just finishing off collecting lots of parts and will start a full underside overhall. Will order Bilstein B8 suspension over the next few days and change out the front end and when i eventually get the rear bushes will set about the rear sub frame. Brake lines are here and awaiting brake pipes and tools to replace all the hard lines whilst its in pieces.

Over here they are preparing bad surprises for me , as a Zed owner: MOT (now every 2years) will go every year and above that we will pay a polution tax of 200 EUR/year...:(

A yearly roadworthiness inspection is a good idea I think Dan, but it would be nice to see how and where they spend the so called "pollution tax". Just an excuse to take money off you IMHO.:(

If your country has this, then we can expect the same soon i expect :rolleyes:.
Hope we're not going to be priced out of running the cars we enjoy and love so much, here or anywhere else.
@Zeti do you have to pay road tax also ?, like we do in the UK.

We're a dying breed, sadly. Still a bit to go yet though mate.

Yes we pay road tax in each liter of fuel and also as a RO vignette for 7, 30, 90, 365 days, as you need the car on the motorway or A roads. Video systems is tracking you and if you don't pay upfront, you pay the fine...
Nobody knows where the pollution tax goes really... Just the hybrids and electrics are exempted, even a Euro 6 has to pay few EUR, 30-40...
 
They didn't touched (yet) the bikes: no pollution and road tax!:)
So I'm turning slowly to :hellsangels:
