Annual French bike trip

Would love to be able to get slabs that wide around here. I need to laminate anything that I need in wider widths but have found that if I check grain patterns carefully I can pretty much hiss the join and the biscuits certainly make it stronger with the wood breaking on either side of them but have never broken a join with biscuits in them. Great project and I'd like to see more pics please @miller1098. Hope you're feeling better post surgery! JIM

Thought it was about a proper bike.This is biking French style, L'Etape du Tour, 1999, 207 kms (same as Stage 12 Tour de France the day after).
I was only 51 then so no problem.

This was at last years tour.im afraid we only drive up the cols but it's still spectacular and you can really appreciate how tough it is.
