Morning

I changed the rather unsympathetic radio without a problem.

However I needed to change that head unit for another one and the Air bag light triggered.

Yes I probably should have pulled a battery lead first.

is it likely that replacing the radio triggered the air bag light? If so is it a simple reset?

Thanks

Radio shouldn't have affected the airbag circuits, did you move either of the seats when doing the radio as movement of the seats can trigger the airbag light from loose or dirty connections. You really need a good code reader plugged in and see what fault codes have been set so you have a direction to go in to check things out. Code reader should also be used to clear the code once the cause is fixed.
