You still got those seat parts in your garage?
You did not know you had a stalker did you.......:D
Ha! It was ages ago I fitted them. Yeah I have lots of seat parts sat in boxes. Only bits I don't have are the switches.

I have had a few different sets in mine over the years, started with the CCFL's which didn't seem to last, the colour changing ones which were OK for a while but the white setting was more blue than white. The most recent ones I have are SMD LED ones, which are very bright an should last a lot longer than CCFL ones. They look like this

I am very impressed with mine, originally my brother had them on his E36 as that is what they are designed for so do need some small modifying but as I did it before on the colour changing ones I knew what to do (Lee knows how to do it).

You can get them for around £20, from here but they come from Hong Kong. If you want them from the UK then you will pay and extra tenner upwards.
Thanks @g8jka ive just ordered a set  hopefully they will come quickly! Any tips gratefully received although im sure lee knows what hes doing :D

Good news, tell Lee all he needs to do it trim them exactly the same as he trimmed the ones he fitted to his. They can go infront or behind the inner lenses (depends how much is trimmed off and where you want them). You need to trim them every 3 LED's from what I remember. They are very bright and visible in daylight plus its harder to find the correct sized CCFL ones now and they are more expensive. I have mine wired to an ignition feed in the fuse box, pretty simple to wire up but Lee will know what he is doing. Get some pics up when they are fitted!

So me and @GazHyde stuck some halos in Vixen a few weekends ago. They looked really good till one decided to melt its electrical bits. So I just left one ring on each side. Hoping to fit a new ring soon.

Disassembling the lights is another thing ticked off my list of "things I haven't done to a Z3". Definitely a job that's easier with 2 people and a lot of patience.

Oddly, the car looks really cool with just the one ring on each side. Very unique!
