Wow.
I used to strip/repair cars seats quite often back in the 70s and 80s Rob, and those so called hog rings were a pain back then. What I did was cut the old ones off, and when it came to refitting I used 1/16 mild steel welding rod. You can bend an angle on the end, push it through the material then holding the short end with pliers you use the length of the rod to bend the ring into a circle. Then cut the rod off and do the same with the others. dead easy fix for this issue. But getting the hog rings off and on is as bad as most people say it is. And I wouldn't even bother trying to put them back without proper hog ring pliers (and new hog rings).
Nice one Tony. Right up there with the broken engine casing to gearbox mount fix you gave meI used to strip/repair cars seats quite often back in the 70s and 80s Rob, and those so called hog rings were a pain back then. These used to be about 30" long but are still useful at 12" and not expensive either.
Tony.
They look comfy Andy.
They look nice.... and soft. I have the same seats but they have hardened over the years, any recommendations for a leather softener?

I discussed that with another forum member recently. It’s a very long section. He had no option but to get his upholsterer to tackle it.My bolster has gone right by the stitching to replace that section goes righ from base to the head rest as ///M seats are in one piece unlike the sport seats are in two pieces.
This looks awesome. Seriously special Z you have made their Andy.Yup, very happy from a cosmetic point of view, look much better than the standard seats. Just need to play around with them to get the most comfy setting for ling drives![]()
