Spare a thought for this poor guy...

“Park the car in the garage, they said. It will be fine, they said. This is all I can see of my 2001 Z3 3.0. Victim of hurricane Michael.”

It by-passed central Florida Dave, there was some flooding on the gulf coast around St. Petersburg/Clearwater area.
My mate Graham was in Fla. recently when the hurricane hit the Carolinas and they only had 6 storms in 23 days which for the wet season is amazing. It was because the huge storm just up the coast wad sucking the low pressure away from Florida. Some you win . . . . . .

Tony.

Glad it missed you Tony.
You must be very relieved.

It can be a bit nerve racking Paul.

A part of the asbestos crashed through a house window next door as the students were sleeping! They came round to complain narturally and were concerned about the asbestos side of it.
I have a feeling it could get much worse later as the wind is predicted to peak later this afternoon.

Tony.

The way the wind's been gusting this afternoon I'd be surprised if there isn't more damage Dave. I locked my tool box before I left at 12 so I don't really care one way or the other, they shouldn't have entrusted the jod to the bunch of Cowboys that they did. Serves them right. They were supposed to be finished by Sept. 28 th. Jobs not even half done yet.

Tony.

And we're (n Linc's and e York's) due a day of rain tomorrow. On the bright side , there'll be no dusting for a week or two.

Nasty

Sods law mate, early in the week they said wet on Saturday and nice on Sunday. Turned out just the opposite though.:(
