Forgot the sills. They were in good condition except for the lip going round into the arch prorectors. I should have taken a few pics! The passenger side lip was rusty but on the driver's side the lip had partially rusted off. I ground the remaining metal down to bright metal with a 50 grit disc and used an Isopon mini fibreglass kit plus fine matting to make the lip good. I used a couple of strips of Polythene cut from an old Tupperware box and gently clamped these on each side of the repair whilst it went off (resin won't stick to Polythene) The result was an A1 glossy finish that didn't need filling. All other rust was treated and painted and I managed to preserve the original paint only re-coating the stone chip and refinishing in the original colour and clearcoat aerosols. Hope somebody finds this useful.
